My name is Margherita Gramiccia, I’m 24 years old, and I’ve always considered myself an artist. Ever since I was a child, I was introduced to the world of art by my mother, a professional restorer of ancient frescoes, who put paintbrushes in my hands from an early age. Throughout high school, I explored various forms of art through courses in oil painting, watercolor, printmaking, and clay modeling. I later earned a Bachelor's degree from the International Academy of Figurative and Digital Arts Comics, specializing in authorial and realistic comic art. Over the years, I’ve collaborated on several creative projects: I illustrated a children’s book titled "La piccola stella e la Terra" (Efesto Edizioni, available on Amazon), worked as a cartoonist for small online magazines, painted on canvas, created mural artworks and street art in my hometown of Rome, and exhibited my paintings in local art shows. At the moment, my personal website is inactive as I’m reorganizing my portfolio. Although I’ve always balanced my artistic journey with other types of work and don’t yet consider myself a full-time illustration professional, it is my hope to pursue this path more seriously in the future. I have recently embraced digital illustration using Procreate.
