About
Hi, I’m Titus Smith, professionally known as MISTRO. I’m an American music producer, DJ, and musician with a global audience and more than 350,000 streams across platforms. I blend contemporary jazz, deep house, and soulful grooves to create a distinct, evolving sound that reflects the boundaries I’m pushing in music.
Raised in a musical family, I began with classical piano, started composing by age 12, and became a DJ by 14. I’m the grandson of Claydes Charles Smith, co-founder and lead guitarist of Kool & The Gang. Each release I work on aims to fuse rich emotion with innovative production, whether in the studio or on stage.
