Business Performance & Profitability Analysis

This project focused on analyzing revenue and profitability across different business dimensions including Region, Product Category, and Product.
The objective was to move beyond basic sales reporting and identify which segments truly drive margin contribution. I designed an interactive Power BI dashboard that allows dynamic switching between dimensions and provides both performance segmentation and Pareto analysis.
Key components of the solution include:

• Revenue vs. Margin % scatter analysis with quadrant segmentation
• Pareto analysis to identify top margin contributors (80/20 principle)
• Dynamic calculation of cumulative margin contribution
• KPI panel highlighting total margin, margin from top contributors, and concentration metrics
• Optimized star schema data model for performance and scalability
  The dashboard helps stakeholders quickly identify high-revenue but low-profit segments, margin concentration risks, and strategic growth opportunities.
  The solution was designed with executive-level reporting clarity in mind while maintaining analytical depth.
