I’m a freelancer who specializes in photography and editing for sound, written, and visual mediums.
I am at my core a curious person. I am curious about how media impacts people, why people want to create, and how I can help make the work I produce to be as impactful as possible for the audience. I have experience in short films (writing scripts, videography, and editing), podcasts, radio work, photography, and writing. I feel especially drawn towards projects that ask meaningful questions, or speak to issues of social justice.

By the end of my degree, I was starting to wonder if the institution of the Liberal Arts University was all that it was cracked up to be. I was stuck between the deep appreciation for learning and critical thinking that I had gained, but was unsure of the role of university in creating a more productivist society rather than simply good people and citizens. Through interviewing several members of my university, and reflecting on a recent tragedy, I tried to come to terms with what university meant.
Keys is a quirky short film depicting a student who is just trying to get into a classroom to study, and meets a strange man along the way.
In the depths of Covid shutdowns, churches took to online spaces as replacements for in person worship. As someone who is particularly curious about the ways in which people gather, this reality made me curious about the ways this online space was impacting worship, and if there were any historical similarities.
Interviewing two peers, I created this stand alone podcast to ask some of those questions.
As the Residence Director of Canadian Mennonite University, we were looking for ways to raise funds to help rebuild sections of Poettcker Hall. In order to creatively demonstrate the issues we were facing, my coworker and I brainstormed this video as a way to help inspire a new generation of donors to the cause of helping us restore this historic building.
I helped come up with the concept, I brainstormed the placards for each piece of “art”, organized the participants for the video shoot, created the shot list, and participated in each scene.
