I hold a Master's degree in Business Administration-International Marketing, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding customer needs, user behavior, and value creation. Following my studies, I worked as a marketing expert where I translated customers’ requirements into clear user stories and practical solutions, developed tailored marketing plans for more than 300 customers, managed relationships with them, tracked their leads using CRM tools, including Salesforce, and analyzed performance metrics and recommended practical strategies to improve their outcomes. This experience was highly valuable in strengthening my understanding and knowledge in the development and implementation of customer-oriented strategies that prioritize customers’ satisfaction. After moving to Finland, I joined Åbo Akademi University as a Project Planner in the Talent Boost project. In this role, I designed and implemented initiatives, including mentorship and job-shadowing programs, to support international students' integration into Finnish society and improve their employability. Working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds strengthened my understanding of users' varying needs and expectations. Moreover, I also gained valuable experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and designing solutions that consider different users’ perspectives and needs. Driven by my growing interest in technology, I later continued my studies at a PhD level in the field of Human–Computer Interaction, allowing me to combine my understanding of human behavior with the design of digital products and services. During four years as a Doctoral Researcher at Aalto University, I developed extensive experience in user research and user-centered design. I planned and conducted studies using methods such as think-aloud protocols, semi-structured interviews, observations, and usability testing to understand users' needs, expectations, motivation, and experiences with digital services. I analyzed qualitative and quantitative data, translated research findings into actionable design recommendations, developed design guidelines to improve user experience, and created user personas. To facilitate the research work, I have used AI when it was applicable. Alongside my research career, I have actively expanded my practical UX and UI design skills. Through independent projects and professional courses, I have gained hands-on experience with user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and designing high-fidelity user interfaces in Figma. My experience at both Aalto University and Åbo Akademi University has strengthened my analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. I have worked on international and multidisciplinary projects involving researchers, industry partners, customers, and other stakeholders, where I learned to communicate complex ideas clearly and contribute effectively toward shared goals.
