I’m hardworking, organized, determined and fair, who likes to be challenged. When I decide something there is nothing that stops me from achieving my goals. Sometimes I can have a difficult and introverted nature, but I easily get along with the people around me. Even in difficult situations I can think clearly and come up with an advantageous solution.
I’ve been a surfer since I was 15 years old, and that’s why I chose to study mechanical engineering, I wanted to be involved in the manufacturing of surfboards. In addition, I’m a registered jiu-jitsu athlete, competing for Portugal both nationally and internationally. I’ve been national champion for three consecutive years and placed third in the European Championship.

January 1, 2014 - PresentI gave surfing lessons to different groups of people of various nationalities, ages, and genders. In addition to imparting practical and theoretical knowledge, I was responsible for organizing the material and ensuring the safety and leadership of the group. Surf lessons take place in a constantly changing environment, which helped me develop the ability to work under pressure, make decisions, control mine and others' emotions, react quickly to stress, and adapt easily to sudden changes.
Intern - Thesis at Car Company at João de Deus & Filhos - Denso
January 1, 2024 - August 18, 2025During the last year of my master's degree, I completed an internship for my thesis at a car company. I helped solve a problem by learning about the equipment itself, where and how it was used. For this problem-solving task, I needed to simulate, calculate, and study the results. Because a good solution brought a different way of thinking, it required multiple simulations until reaching a point where changes were no longer effective enough to continue with new ones.
