It started up as a service provider in animation, production and post-prod, joint-ventured with our former company. In a very short time TRIX became a film producer company on it's on merit. For more than two decades, it has been - and continues to be - a respected and important player in Portugal's advertising and brand communication scene. Aiming mostly to do animation work from the beginning, very soon live action took an important slice of the provided techniques chart as the company grew. It was at TRIX that I experienced most of my professional life, worked, learned, thrived , evolved. But, in a very personal and candid manner, I must say that two decades of this took it's toll. I felt stranded, it was time to move on. So I took the matured decision of leaving, and try a reset and restart (that you can read about in the HOMY Animation section) 1996 - 2017 **Opticalprint** *animator, director* I started at Opticalprint fresh out from art school, as an in-betweener. Soon I evolved to animator, first animator/director, and then to director. Computers had no yet taken in the industry in my early years as professional. During those 14 years at Opticalprint I naturally upgraded to computers, paint and sfx systems, and 3D animation.
