In addition to being a professional actor and musician, I am a freelance artist with a wide set of artistic skills. I am an animator, composer, video editor, and illustrator, and have been sought out for these skills since I graduated from the Juilliard School of Drama in 2010. My commissioned projects have ranged from an original animated series, short promotional animated cartoons for theater pieces, animated music videos, a series of concept records, and animated augmentation of live video. Although my training was in the theater, my passion has lead me to expand my skillset into animation, music production and video editing, and my skills as a storyteller have proved invaluable in all these realms. --- Select Animation and Composition Experience COMMISSIONED ANIMATOR, ACTORS THEATER OF LOUISVILLE 2018-2022 I have worked on several commissions from ATL, including original short cartoons for show promotions. I was also commissioned to develop a 12 episode series of shorts based on Rudyard Kiplings “Just So” stories, which have become a part of their online catalogue. COMMISSIONED ANIMATOR, MASTER VOICES — 2021-2022 I was asked to create a full animated music video for a video concert of Adam Guettle’s Myths and Hymns. My contribution, Sysisphus, was directed by Broadway director Anne Kaufmann, and starred Daniel Baker and John Lithgow. COMMISSIONED ANIMATOR, ARS NOVA — 2021 I developed an animated video for Larson Grant winner Rona Sidiqqui for the video concert presentation of her musical Salam Medina. COMMISSIONED COMPOSER, ARS NOVA — 2021 After years as a resident artist, Ars Nova commissioned me to complete a series of concept records based on India's ancient epic, The Ramayan.
