My works are about everyday living. I am fascinated by whimsical illustrations that cause the imagination to take a journey of its own. I want my viewers to make a connection and identify with each character I create. I believe the complexity of everyday living reveals we are all simply humans who are called to something greater. I primarily work digitally to incorporate different lighting, compositions, and painting techniques that would be harder to accomplish otherwise. I enjoy working with watercolor and using the dry brush techniques to capture as much detail as I can. In addition, I work with smaller brushes to capture details accurately. I don't leave home without a sketchbook for capturing ideas to assist me with compositions, and character developments.
