Hello! I’m Manon, a visual development and background artist for animated films, as well as an illustrator. I studied as a drawing practitioner at Emile Cohl School in France, and later specialized in animation filmmaking. During my studies, I had the opportunity to complete an internship at a motion design studio. After graduating, I worked on various projects: I wrote and created a mock-up for an illustrated book painted in gouache, centered on discovering rock climbing in Asia; I contributed background designs to an independent animation project; and I traveled extensively to paint and expand my visual knowledge. I am now based in Canada, where I’ve taken on freelance work, including designing T-shirts for the climbing gym Rose Bloc. I will soon begin working on a climbing film directed by Julia Cassou. I strive to connect my artistic work with my passion for the outdoors, and I’m excited to develop more projects that bring these two worlds together.
