I am passionate about bridging science and art. One of my favourite ways to achieve this is by doing children’s illustrations to break down complex scientific concepts for children.
My past project includes NPC and Me, a children’s book aimed for patients and caretakers understand the complexities of Niemann-Pick type C disease, a type of childhood dementia.

NPC and Me: Breaking Down the Science offers a simple, engaging explanation of what NPC is, how it develops, and what happens inside the body.
I served as the primary illustrator for this book, developing illustrations from early sketches to finished, full-colour artwork. I used the author’s manuscript as a starting point, breaking down complex scientific concepts into a playful, accessible way for children and their caregivers.
The book features around 20 illustrations, spanning everything from small illustrations like DNA strands to large ones of protein-making machinery and people.
