    paper Universal Light Fixture Sirius

This project focuses on the development of an Universal Light Fixture Sirius, with the purpose of promoting visual comfort, addressing the influence of light color temperature on the perception of the environment and productivity, highlighting that inadequate lighting compromises productivity and eye health, and can cause symptoms such as visual fatigue, headaches, and irritability, especially in contexts of prolonged screen use and in work environments. The importance of luminance for visual perception and comfort is defined as the amount of light emitted or reflected that reaches the eye, emphasizing glare, which can lead to visual fatigue, headaches, and reduced ability to perform tasks accurately, impacting safety. The quest for visual comfort requires uniform and balanced lighting to avoid these problems. The project started from established technical and ergonomic requirements, aligned with the demands identified in field research, using techniques such as Brainstorm, MESCRAI, and 635 to generate conceptual solutions. The conclusions confirmed that the Universal Adaptive Light Fixture fills a market gap by applying Universal Design to offer a solution with dual functionality of light and intensity adjustment, mitigating visual fatigue.
