Hello! I’m Mara Tegene Assefa, an Industrial Engineering student at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo Campus in Paphos, Cyprus. I’m passionate about translating data and systems thinking into practical improvements for cities, campuses, and teams. I enjoy hands-on work in research, design, and stakeholder collaboration, and I’m eager to apply my engineering mindset to real-world problems.
Outside the classroom, I pursue opportunities in urban mobility, sustainability, and cross-disciplinary teamwork, building a foundation in analytics, programming, and thoughtful communication. I value curiosity, continuous learning, and contributing to impactful projects with a friendly, collaborative approach.
