I’m Marco Salustro, a Rory Peck Award-winning and Grierson-longlisted filmmaker with more than 15 years of experience shooting and producing in conflict zones and hostile environments across 20 countries. I’m HEFAT trained, a native Italian, and fluent in English, French and Spanish. My work spans shooting, directing, editing and photography for both documentary features and news, with a focus on migration, climate change and humanitarian issues.
From ITN, BBC Arabic, Al Jazeera, VICE News, Channel 4 and National Geographic, I’ve built a career delivering on-the-ground reporting with cinematic storytelling.
