Marcus Tan Wei Ming

Through my recent internship as a Project Engineer at Yinson GreenTech (May 2024 – December 2024), I supported vessel operations, monitored and recorded critical vessel data, and oversaw maintenance works including fender and deck platform installations, hull cleaning and repainting, propeller repairs, and internal structural enhancements.
My technical experience spans multiple industries: I assembled and troubleshooted 3D printers during an overseas internship at Hangzhou Ximalaya Information Technology Co., Ltd., repaired satellite routers and walkie-talkies at Communication Test Design, Inc., handled baggage operations on the airside as a Ramp Operator, and delivered customer service in fast-paced restaurant environments.
I am proficient in C, C#, and Python programming, along with tools such as Arduino, Tina, Eagles software, and the Microsoft Office suite. My core strengths include hardware testing and debugging, electronics, problem-solving, logical thinking, and project planning.
Bilingual in English and Mandarin, I am a proactive team player with strong decision-making skills developed through co-curricular activities, including touch rugby tournaments
