I’m Maribel Fawaz, a graphic designer and BFA student at the American University of Beirut. For me, design is more than visuals, it’s about creating experiences that connect people and ideas. Over the past few years, I’ve worked on projects ranging from branding and packaging to motion graphics and UX/UI design, gaining valuable experience through internships at C.A.T. Group, thedepartment, and EMDAD Contracting Est. I’ve also led creative projects, including managing the visual identity and social media design for the AUB Rugby team. Having grown up between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, and being fluent in English, Arabic, and French, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work that allows me to adapt easily to different contexts and audiences. What makes me stand out is my ability to balance creativity with functionality. I love designing work that not only looks compelling but also serves a clear purpose. I’m passionate about continuously learning, pushing boundaries, and using design as a way to inspire, solve problems, and make a lasting impact.
