Mark Fickert

Future archeologists may discover the fossilized remains of Mark’s earliest entertainment venture, Dallas’ first improv/comedy group, Random Scam. A member of Actor’s Equity Association (since 1983) he’s worked regional theater, on television, numerous commercials, as well as in films with directors like Robert Altman (STREAMERS) and Richard Linklater (NEWTON BOYS). He also co-founded Dallas’ longest-running improv group 4 OUT OF 5 DOCTORS. Trained at HB Studios in NYC, Mark also toured as a stand-up comic, appearing at Catch-A-Rising Star, Improv(s) and Funny Bone(s).

Writing credits you ask? After having written and performed over 500 “Fortune 100” corporate videos and live presentations, Mark decided to stop getting paid and start writing for the love of it. His seasonal comedy review HOLIDAY ON THIN ICE has received great reviews in it’s first full production. Trained as a Daylight Savings Mime, his superhero power is getting stuff off the top shelf.
