I am Marcela González, an illustrator, born and raised in Mexico City. I discovered my passion for drawing at a young age and pursued the career in Visual Arts at UNAM. I started my career as a freelance illustrator working for a large publishing house. I’ve been known for my style of combining traditional and digital techniques to create dynamic and colorful illustrations. Some of my illustrations has published in Catalog for children and youth Illustraton In Mexico. I am passionate about encouraging young artists to pursue their dreams in my art classes for young children and adults. In my free time, also I enjoy doing Photography, taking pictures and edit them. I consider a contemporary painter known for my vibrant compositions that explore the intersections between art, nature, and technology. In 2011 I moved to Canada, since then I have worked on several projects, among them, I painted the Library in the children's space, in addition doing painting workshops for children at the Library, I have made several children's books for local authors in BC, in Canada, currently I am still working on illustrated albums for children, my work has also been selected for some Arts Council in 2 cities in BC, Canada.…I am Marcela González, an illustrator, born and raised in Mexico City.
