I am Martin Weiss, a filmmaker and editor based in Vienna. My passion for filmmaking began through skateboarding, which drew me early to the camera and to editing. Since 2019 I have been studying at the Filmakademie Wien and I am currently in the Master program for directing and editing. Freelance filmmaker and editor working on a range of short films, music videos, fashion films, and documentaries as part of the Filmakademie Wien program and independent productions. Responsibilities include camera work, editing with DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Avid, and directing input. Notable works include CHUN (directed and edited), Too Moon - This Town (music video, editing), Concrete Strategies (short documentary, camera and edit), festival reels for Schauspielschule Ott, and the festival trailer for Concerti Corti.
