I am Vasileios Mathioudakis, a photographer and documentary photographer with over two decades of experience in photojournalism, portraits, street photography and architecture. My work has taken me across Greece and beyond, covering cultural events, social issues and refugee crises, with a focus on telling human stories through images and moving pictures. I am passionate about storytelling, composition and visual documentation that captures moments with clarity and empathy. I was teaching for over 10 years photoshop. Beyond photography, I have cooked on Gavdos’ shores, worked in the Norwegian fish industry, and contributed to newsrooms and cultural institutions.
