I’ve created plenty of title sequences and brand moments for shows on Netflix, BBC, ITV, Discovery and more but this is one of my favourite, it’s from Big Cats 24/7 and aired on BBC in 2024. This mixes VFX, live action manipulation and motion design to create a gorgeous moment which reflects the nature of the show, following animals around the clock with the new addition of night vision cameras in this series.
I’ve worked on numerous Netflix crime documentaries, creating on-brand, professional graphics to suit every need. This example is from Get Gotti (2023) and focuses on the family tree within the crime family.
My responsibilities:
2D Design
2.5D Motion Graphics
VFX & Compositing
I was part of the team responsible for the entire branding and graphics package within the show, which consisted of maps, lower thirds, title, text graphics, archival packaging and in this case - a family tree.
I’ve also worked on the following, similar productions:
The Most Hated Man on the Internet (2022, Netflix)
The Search for Instagram’s Worst Con Artist (2023, Netflix)
Mob War: Philadelphia vs the Mafia (2024, Netflix)
American Murder: Gabby Petito (2025, Netflix)
Backlash: The Murder of George Floyd (2025, BBC)
And plenty more!
I’ve worked on all of SHIMPAC’s 3D explainers within their films. They needed a comprehensive style that ensured clarity with their product and its environment. The films had to showcase diversity within the range, ‘how to’ style sections, and general product showcasing.
My responsibilities:
3D Modelling to references from location shoots.
3D Texturing and Rendering
3D Animation including camera move
2D Compositing
I was responsible for modelling intricate details of the product itself and surrounding environments, keeping the SHIMPAC product front and centre - all focus needed to be on the product but ensuring that the viewer had a good understanding of the subterranean details of each environment. I was also responsible for the general look, style and animation of the brand in these videos.
As a Motion Designer on ‘Gold Rush: Freddy Dodge’s Mine Rescue’ (Discovery Channel), I was responsible for multiple 3D explainer graphics throughout the series. Below you can see one of my sequences from S6E10:
My responsibilities:
3D Modelling to references from location shoots.
3D Texturing and Rendering
3D Animation including camera move
2D Compositing
I was responsible for modelling intricate details of the washplant, machinery and landscape to references from the location shoot. I would continue to work on dynamic systems and textures to complete the world in order to animate and render sequences to be used as explainers within the show. The graphics had to show the problem with detailed systems of rock and water flow, then visualise the fix, all within a stylised, on-brand 3D world.
