Hi, I’m Mauricio Cantú. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Creation and Innovation, and I’ve been actively involved in project management and business strategy roles. I’ve founded and managed Epic Venture Coffee MX, where I work on business strategy design, financial analysis, and market research. Additionally, I have experience as a Project Specialist at MXGA, where I manage project activity planning, scoping, and reporting, with a focus on data analytics and visualization.
I’m passionate about leveraging entrepreneurial methodologies like LEAN, Spin, and Design Thinking to drive business growth and innovation. I enjoy turning data into actionable insights and creating presentations that help potential investors understand the value of the projects I work on. My concluding proyect in my university studies was to create a business and show at least 3 months of revenue. During the last semester I created a busniess form scratch that is compliant to mexican laws. In this project I learned the fundamentals of how a business is created, and then how the business grows. This project had me doing activities varied from a wide range, for example: legal compliance like trademark registration, marketing activities such as branding and market cap, operations development, financial analysis, comptitor analysis, among other activities. At the end, the project was presented to a jury who played the role of investors and depending on the sturcture of the proyect, the revenue, presentation skills and other variables, the jury determined the score of the concluding proyect and I was among the few in the generation to get a perfect score.
In my most recent experience I had to play the role of a data analyst, my job is now to analyse KPI’s, business needs and turn them into acctionable steps, and keep track of performance metrics such as: Hours worked per employee, map of activities per employee, financial metrics and other relevant data to the C-Suite
