Maurizio Galia

I’m Maurizio Galia, born 1963 in Moncalieri, near Turin. I graduated from the Albertina Academy of Turin in 1986 with a Fine Art education. I began my career as an illustrator for advertising, and then evolved into a graphic designer for publishing, school books, and music labels.

Over the years I have painted, created books and album covers, and worked on graphic novels. Since 1990 I have taught Fine Art and gained experience abroad, including collaboration with a British Institute since 2019 and exhibitions in London galleries in 2025. I’m also known as a music expert and the author of Prog 50, a globally distributed guide with Peter Gabriel’s foreword and praise from Nick Mason of Pink Floyd. If you’re seeking an artist for graphic novels, compelling paintings, or illustrated historical works, you’ve found the right person.
