Max is a writer, producer and editor of film, television and games with an obsessive need to be just a little silly about it. He is passionate about finding humour in stories, bringing laughter to a world that really needs it. Max has a Bachelor of Film, Television and Animation from Deakin University and an Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting from RMIT University, where he received the 2025 Australian Writers’ Guild Award for Outstanding Student Performance. In 2023, he produced the short film Room, which won Best Student Short Film of the Month at CKF International Film Festival and Best Student Film at ARFF Amsterdam. Max has completed three internships. At production company Flood Projects in 2023, he assisted with development research and distribution for feature films. In 2025, he interviewed directors for the Australian Directors’ Guild website and assisted with playtesting, research and writing tasks at indie game company Liquid Heart Studios. Max would be jazzed to do entry level writing roles such as notetaking, development research and script coverage, as well as editing.
