O Caminho Rosa is a documentary photography project that gives visibility to the personal journeys of women facing breast cancer in Brazil. Through sensitive and respectful visual storytelling, the project documents resilience, vulnerability, and strength, creating images that raise awareness, foster empathy, and connect health, art, and social impact.

“The days are long, but the years are short.”
Seen through a mother’s gaze, three children and their great-grandparents come together to form the biography of a family. Caixa de Memórias (Memory Box) is a curated selection from over 5,000 photographs taken of my children between 2012 and 2023—and it remains an ongoing project. The project was exhibited in Londrina in May 2023 during the national event Maio Furta-Cor and received over 1,000 visitors.

Photographic project created in celebration of Women’s Month.
Starting from portraits of women considered “ordinary,” the project presented women from the city of Londrina whose life stories or work inspire and transform society. The project became an exhibition in co-authorship with Londrina Norte Shopping and was on display throughout March 2024, encouraging visitors to celebrate the incredible women around them.
