About
Hempel & Firmont is our composer duo. We bring distinct backgrounds: I started in metal before my Video Game Scoring MA, while Lars studied classical piano before his Royal College of Music MA.
Our track record spans international cinema, TV, and video games. Recent projects include the massive game soundtrack for Causal Loop, and film scores for Spiel um Millionen and Lehitraot.
Ultimately, we know you don’t just need technical perfection—you need music that tells a story. We want to take your vision and translate it into a soundtrack that grabs the player, hits the right emotions, and truly brings your world to life.
Let’s create memories together!

Causal Loop is a narrative puzzler that blends mind-bending mechanics with a rich sci-fi story about time, consequence, and survival. Solve intricate puzzles by using the signature “echo” mechanic to record, replay, and interact with up to three versions of your past self.
