    I’ve edited Matt Clark’s YouTube channel for the past six months, across long-form talking head videos, interviews and podcast episodes, and the vertical cutdowns that come out of them. My job is the edit itself, start to finish. Finding the shape of a piece in the raw footage, tightening the pacing so it holds, then colour, audio mix and delivery. It’s a steady weekly output, and the priority is consistency: the channel sounds and looks the same every time, whatever the format.
