I craft my music around your stories. I love telling stories with music so I love composing music to other people’s images and stories. There is something exciting about movies – they can be very large beasts, and when a film crew is working it is like the circus has come to town. And I love circuses. It is always fun watching a film getting made and helping make it. Creating the score usually happens at the end of shooting, and that is another piece of the giant mosaic/tapestry a film or television programme is.
I love creating music and being the Musical Director. I love to collaborate with other people’s ideas. I also love performing live, teaching and exploring theatre and dance music. I enjoy collaborating across film, theatre, and multi-media works, and I bring a generous dose of curiosity, humour and dedication to every project.
