My name is Michelle, a graduate and former Division 1 volleyball player at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I want to continue to grow in my career in marketing and find a way to keep it authentic. I recently wrapped up working for the UCSB Athletics Marketing Department where I found my passion for marketing. I’ve worked with them for over 2 years and I took part in the entire creative cycle; from taking professional photos and videos, uploading and editing them, and eventually posting them on social media. I created graphic designs as well, for game days, awards, etc. As a student-athlete I got to understand brand partnerships as well through NIL. I worked with some brands such as Vuori, OliPop, and C20 to name a few. I may not have the most experience but I am a hard worker and a fast learner. I work well under pressure and have a good handle on time management. I thrive working in a team environment, pushing to help each other grow for one big cause.
