Hi, I’m Mickey Knighton—a versatile actor with a strong comic edge. I originate from Sheffield and have Irish roots. Being surrounded by strong accents as well as my father’s neutral English accent has helped me develop a strong ear for accenting. As an actor I’m silly, fun and love collaborating and creating character/story.
I can pivot between hard-hitting kitchen-sink drama and satirical or villainous turns in black comedies. I love working with classical texts and I bring life to my characters through a wide range of accents and lived experience.
I’m a proud father with roots spanning the north, the south and Europe thanks to family, and I enjoy collaborating across stage, screen and voiceover. I’m always ready for a new challenge and to bring warmth, energy and truth to every role.
