Developed the company’s infrastructure for an automotive production-grade control module. Engineered a system to interface heavy-machinery joystick inputs over wired/wireless CAN Bus or analog channels, enabling independent dual-system control from a single joystick. Features mixed-signal circuitry, automotive-grade component selections, a dual-ECU processor, real-time wireless system control & management, and dynamic interface switching. The PCB is housed within an IP67-rated enclosure and complies with ISOBUS ISO 11783 and automotive EMI/EMC standards, enabling reliable data transmission up to 1 Mbps. Implemented a scheduling, interrupt-driven framework with callback-based task handling for Bluetooth SPP/LE and SAE J1939 (250 kbps) protocols, enabling flexible, light-weight, and robust system control and CAN bus communication via physical or Bluetooth connections.

Spearheaded the design and development of an advanced autonomous embedded system tailored for a medical device catering to dementia patients. Developed custom firmware/software to autonomously manage output signal modulation based on the patient’s custom daily schedule, configurable via a Bluetooth mobile application.

Postgraduate R&D Electronics Engineer (CubeSat Embedded System) at University of Canterbury

Researched and developed a robust, power-efficient embedded system for a CubeSat mission, designed to autonomously capture and manage 40+ microscopic biological experiments within a 1.4U pressure chamber, maintaining temperatures between 8°C - 25°C. Investigated space environment uncertainties on electronics and applied radiation mitigation techniques in hardware and firmware to ensure operational reliability for over 6 months in orbit. Implemented the embedded design across a 6-layer Processing PCB and a 4-layer Power Subsystems PCB, optimising form factor, EMI, and EMC performance.
