Miguel Soares de Oliveira Martins

I am a versatile music professional with over 15 years of experience in production, performance, and artist development. Since 2009, I have been writing, recording, and producing music across multiple genres, collaborating with international artists on numerous releases. I have toured extensively across Europe, the UK, and Portugal, performing at major festivals and venues including the O2 Arena in London and the Super Bock Arena in Porto.

In the studio, I have worked in leading facilities such as Metropolis Studios (UK) and ARDA Recorders (Portugal), contributing in roles including recording engineer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, arranger, and multi-instrument performer. I co-founded Neon Animal, whose first single — which I co-wrote, performed, produced, and mixed — was selected as one of the 15 “Best of the Year” tracks in Classic Rock Magazine’s 2017 edition.

I am highly versatile, working across all aspects of music creation: from arrangements, audio editing, mixing, and mastering, to shaping the storytelling and vision of each project. I work closely with artists to help them define and share their vision freely and creatively, while ensuring the highest quality of sound. Above all, I love the magic of music — the moments when performance, production, and emotion connect to create something unforgettable.

I studied Independent Music Production at UCLA, earning the certificate with distinction and receiving the Hal Gaba Scholarship, which recognises excellence, creativity, and authenticity in music composition and production.
