Mira Makarova

Hi, I’m Mira Makarova, a BA in Film and Digital Media student at the University of Galway. While working as a waitress, I learned how to approach clients in a respectful manner and ensure their wellbeing and comfort, which helped me stay organized and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

This job also gave me the confidence to socialise with friendly colleagues and handle a range of responsibilities—from welcoming guests and presenting menus to delivering meals with care and maintaining a neat dining area. I’m proficient with software like Microsoft Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, and Google Workspace, and I value creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in every project.
