    I have always been fascinated with the duality of chaos and order, and astronomy (two seemingly unrelated things, but bare with me). Shortly before composing this work, I was watching a documentary about space, and I was astounded by the beautiful images on screen. They seemed so peaceful, serene and beautiful from billions of miles away. But when I thought about those swirling masses of matter, I thought, they must be so chaotic and inhospitable up close. And so I wrote this piece to reflect that. The battle between chaos and order is represented in this work by the rolling layers of reverb and delay, with consonance meeting chromatic dissonance. Composed with a guitar, various effects pedals, a Roland Ju-o6a synth and a bass (with a cello bow and volume pedal to create swelling effects), this sci-fi inspired program music tells the story about our closest red neighbour's seemingly serene landscape. music instrumental soundtrack ambient concept guitar darkambient videogamemusic gamemusic…
