Mitchell works as a freelance Videographer for corporate and non-profit clients. He owns and operates a Sony FS7 camera. His work usually falls into one of three categories: one person band, Videographer along side a producer, or a Director of Photography with a small production team. As a one person band, Mitchell works with the interview subjects to find the best locations to tell the story. He sets up the lights, audio, and conducts any interviews that are needed. He then sends the footage to either the Producer or Editor. When Mitchell works with an on-site Producer / Director, he focuses more on the camera work and relies on the Producer to coordinate interviews along with general logistics. The bulk of Mitchell's work is in this capacity. If the production is larger, Mitchell will work with a small production team usually consisting of a sound person, gaffer, and additional camera team members.
