Amanda Marks is an award-winning writer/producer with dozens of non-fiction broadcast television episodes to her credit. Most recently, she wrapped her sixth season as a Supervising Producer on Discovery’s Emmy-nominated Expedition Unknown. Amanda has filmed in over 20 countries including Greenland, Peru, and Sudan; additional credits include RuPaul’s Drag Race and the 90 Day Fiancé franchise. Amanda began her career Clio award-winning ad agency mOcean where she wrote and produced on trailer and TV marketing campaigns for over 200 theatrical feature film releases for all major studios including Disney, Universal, and Fox Searchlight. Originally from New York City, Amanda holds a BA in Film from Wesleyan University and is a member of both the Television Academy and the Writers Guild of America. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband Chris and dog Dexter.
