Moisés Anaya (Mexico, 1987) is a director, writer and cinematographer working across documentary, fiction, and commercial formats. His debut feature Sunset Shadows (2025) explores legacy, rebellion and decadence in the world of Mexican bullfighting and is currently on the festival circuit and is part of the Docs for Sale at IDFA 2025. Anaya’s work has screened at DOCS MX, GIFF, WOMEX, Clermont-Ferrand, ICARO Film Festival, among others and has collaborated with Netflix, Vice, and NGOs across America, Europe and Asia. He is based in Stockholm, where he is writing narrative screenplays, developing international projects.
