I am a multidisciplinary visual artist and crafter whose work focuses on exploring materials and three-dimensionality. In two dimensions, I enjoy experimenting with all kinds of materials, particularly focusing on realism in both scientific illustration and human portraiture. However, I transcend the two-dimensional plane of traditional painting by integrating mixed media, assemblage and sculpture into my work. Specialising in modelling and volume-building techniques, I create pieces that are distinctly tactile and textural. As an educator, I design and implement educational projects that stimulate fine motor skills, spatial perception and creativity in children.
