I’m Manny Oquendo, also known as MegManMusic, a composer and producer blending electronic, hip-hop, and cinematic sound design. A pioneer of New York’s illbient movement in the 1990s, I’ve helped shape the avant-garde underground alongside Byzar, DJ Spooky, and Antipop Consortium, creating bass-heavy grooves, atmospheric textures, and experimental rhythms. Today I focus on composing for dance, film, television, and media, offering music that ranges from dark, urban, and futuristic moods to moody, ambient textures. My catalog is sync-ready, featuring instrumental and vocal versions, with fully cleared rights. I push sonic boundaries to heighten emotion, tension, and storytelling for visual narratives.
