Coverfly's RED LIST - "The Council of Traitors"

Published
The Council of Traitors is a dark, politically charged epic fantasy #story set in the world of Zelenhgorm.
At its core, the story follows a fragile alliance of rulers, priests, and power-brokers who claim to govern in the name of order, but whose authority is built on betrayal, buried history, and fear of forgotten truths. As ancient pacts resurface and long-suppressed knowledge threatens the balance of power, loyalties fracture and the line between protector and traitor dissolves.
The #novel blends mythic world-building with moral ambiguity, exploring themes of:
power versus responsibility
truth versus survival
collective guilt and inherited corruption
This is not a chosen-one fantasy. It is a council-room epic where decisions cost lives, history is manipulated, and silence can be deadlier than rebellion.
The Council of Traitors was ranked on Coverfly’s RED LIST, placing #4 in #Fantasy #Short #Story (Prose) for November 2022 and #19 overall for the year.
