I’m a Dutch composer, arranger, producer, guitarist and mandolin player, active across contemporary and traditional concert music as well as light music, jazz and Latin American styles. My work is focused on authentic, world-inspired composition for film, TV and media—often blending orchestral writing with colorful, culturally rooted idioms.
I also conduct and coordinate musical projects, teach and tutor (especially guitar and composition/orchestration), and lead ensembles dedicated to traditional repertoire. Alongside concert hall commissions and orchestrations for major orchestras, I create original film music, album projects and media cues, and I’ve worked internationally across animation, documentary and television while building a strong track record as both a musician and a production collaborator.

I write original music and arrange existing music for anything from small ensembles to full orchestra. I particularly enjoy projects that need a strong musical identity, detailed orchestration, or a combination of different musical styles.
My work includes writing and arranging for the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, Ricciotti Ensemble and the National Symphony Orchestra of Argentina, as well as original music for films and documentaries. I also worked as an orchestrator on the Oscar-nominated feature Footnote.
My background ranges from classical composition and orchestration to jazz, songwriting and Latin American music. This gives me considerable flexibility when a project doesn’t fit neatly into one musical style.
My priority is always to understand what the project actually needs and deliver music that works — creatively, technically and practically.
