I am the sole creative force behind Murrk Waters, a project born out of a need to express beyond the limits of an academic environment while I worked on my undergraduate degrees. I have relentlessly probed musical boundaries, with the vibraphone at the core of my work, and the seed for this project germinated in the St. Louis DIY music scene. The instrument is now the beating heart of a physical synthesizer engine that I have had the honor of bringing to record with musicians around the world. Recently I began an involved project titled Jazz, with British composer Ryan Probert. This work is a sonic exploration of Matisse's final work Jazz, and several movements are near completion.
