I am Murray Thomas Wilton, a lifelong educator and linguist who built a career across New Zealand and Canada. I taught and led at Dilworth School from 1961 to 1997, helped establish bilingual lexicography research at the University of Victoria and Simon Fraser University, and authored The Dilworth Legacy, a two-volume history chronicling the school’s 100-year story with extensive illustrations. My work spans teaching, language research, school leadership, and publishing, underpinned by a deep commitment to accurate language use and rigorous scholarship. I am fluent in English and French, and I am passionate about language, education, and writing. I recently concluded a role as an English editor with MDPI, applying my language expertise to editing and publication of open-access scientific papers, while continuing to contribute to linguistic and educational projects through writing and collaboration.
