SHEYDA is a dark and melancholic music project built around the story of a character living with schizophrenia, who becomes deeply attached to an imagined lover created by his own mind.
As the story progresses, the line between reality and hallucination begins to disappear. What initially feels like love and comfort gradually turns into obsession, isolation, and emotional collapse, ultimately leading the character toward self-destruction.
The main melody was sampled from a My Chemical Romance song and reworked within the production to create a darker, more haunting atmosphere that fits SHEYDA’s narrative.
The production was designed to reflect the character’s psychological descent, using sound and arrangement to blur the boundary between reality and hallucination.
