Daniel Reed is an award-winning Melbourne based illustrator and writer who has been working in comics for over twenty years. His own titles include ‘Grubby Little Smudges of Filth’, and ‘The Mycelium Complex’. Stories that explore fantasy and sci-fi genres with a mix of dark humour and original concepts.
With a unique illustration style that is highly detailed and full of character, Daniel has become a sought-after collaborator with other writers. Such projects include the post-apocalyptic ‘Evermore’, with Isobelle Carmody, epic crime thriller ‘The Boar’ with Lee Roy Kunz, and the darkly brutal series ‘The Chain’ with Sean Webley.
Any day that he is earning a living making comics is a good day as far as Daniel is concerned and he has no plans slowing down any time soon.
