Study of compounds as alternatives to antimicrobials to mitigate bacterial resistance and persistence; development of in vitro microbiological and in silico genomic analyses; led university outreach to disseminate information and promote awareness of antimicrobial resistance; conducted extensive scientific literature review; developed and instructed the course “Scientific Writing: Theory and Practice,” mentoring Ph.D. and master’s students in structuring, reviewing, and editing theses and dissertations.

Development and standardization of meat products, in addition to the continuous improvement of the product portfolio; planning, design, and execution of industrial and laboratory tests; drafting of technical datasheets, product specifications, scientific justifications, explanatory letters, and regulatory documentation; monitoring of production processes and management of product and raw material non-conformities; technical and scientific support to beef production plants (fresh/in nature), dried meat, and jerked beef; integrated collaboration between R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Production, and Commercial areas; active participation in the design and implementation of CETEC – Center for Meat Studies and Technology, Friboi's first meat analysis center.
