Tikka

I am a Hong Kong-born artist and illustrator currently based in the United Kingdom. With over a decade of professional experience as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer, I specialize in creating visual stories that resonate with warmth and clarity.
My Journey:
My career began in Hong Kong, where I received formal training in graphic design and illustration. I initially cut my teeth in the fast-paced world of advertising and commercial illustration before finding my true calling in children’s media. Over the years, I have dedicated my practice to:
• Picture Books & Magazines: Crafting engaging narratives for young readers.
• Character & IP Design: Developing unique visual identities and intellectual properties.
• Educational Publishing: Creating approachable visuals for school publications.
Style & Medium
I believe in a versatile approach to art. Whether working with the organic textures of watercolour and acrylic or the precision of digital illustration, my goal remains the same: to maintain a child-friendly visual language that is both narrative-driven and emotionally resonant.
Milestones & Exhibitions
2024 marked a significant turning point in my career with the release of my picture book, Long Time No See, which I both wrote and illustrated.
My work has been embraced by a global audience, with exhibitions held in major cultural hubs including London, Paris, New York, Milan, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, and Toronto
