I’m Nehla Mohammed, an interior design and architecture student based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I enjoy turning spaces into functional, contemporary environments—through space planning, layout development, material and color concepts, and detailed furniture planning. Alongside my studies, I’ve built hands-on experience supporting residential and commercial interior work, from drawings and BOQs to 3D visualization and presentation materials. What I love most is balancing creativity with real-world constraints: zoning, privacy, circulation, and vertical organization. I also support projects with site measurements and design coordination, and I’m comfortable working with tools like Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, and Adobe Creative tools to communicate ideas clearly. I’m seeking an interior design opportunity where I can contribute to real projects and keep growing professionally.…

    G+2+T Residential Design
Modern Residential Exterior Design | Contemporary Architecture This project involved designing the exterior façade of a private residential building, focusing on creating a distinctive contemporary appearance while respecting the client's preference for gray tones. The design approach explored the concept of addition and subtraction of forms, transforming a simple box-like structure into a more dynamic composition through recessed volumes, projecting geometric elements, and layered horizontal and vertical features. The façade combines clean white surfaces, dark gray accents, black marble-textured finishes, glass openings, and subtle integrated lighting to create depth, contrast, and visual balance. An important part of the process was client collaboration. Although the client initially expressed concerns about the implementation cost, the visual presentation helped communicate the design's value and led to a positive response. The project demonstrates how thoughtful mass composition, material selection, and clear visualization can transform an ordinary residential exterior into a contemporary architectural expression.…
