Nick studied English Philology at the Complutense University of Madrid before moving to Los Angeles to attend the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts, where he was mentored by director Robert Zemeckis. His USC thesis film, The Macabre World of Lavender Williams — starring Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future) and John Lithgow (Interstellar) — screened at more than forty international festivals.
After graduating from USC, Nick joined the Universal Writers Program (2019–2020 cohort), where he wrote two feature scripts for Universal Pictures. His latest short, The One Minute Problem, starring Gorka Otxoa (Machos Alfa) and Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey), is a love letter to the adventure films of the ’80s and ’90s and will premiere at the Gijón International Film Festival.
