Hi, I’m Nick, an LA-based composer who loves blending jazz, soul, and cinematic textures to create unique scores for film, TV, and digital media. I recently scored the feature Hollywood Grit, where I composed the entire score along with eight original songs. I enjoy crafting emotional and immersive music experiences, often integrating live jazz performances, like tenor sax, to add a personal touch.
My work includes scoring the dramedy pilot Yanqui, which premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival, and composing music for national PSAs for Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. I’m passionate about researching culturally and geographically relevant instruments to help transport audiences into the story world. Scored a gripping dramedy pilot that premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. The music was a blend of comedy, quirky and drama with Argentinian influence similar to 'White Lotus'. Featured use of the Bandoneon (Argentinian Accordion) to reflect the setting and script, involving research on geographically appropriate instruments.
Scored a documentary centered on U.S. veterans and homelessness near the VA in West Los Angeles. Created emotional themes with orchestral textures to provide a solid bed for interviews and montages throughout.
